Ansell Construction Ltd. submitted the lowest tender for the $ 2.5M extension of Benvoulin Road.
This new Collector Road, designed by Associated Engineering was proposed to implement new safety enhancements at the in the Springfield/Benvoulin Road corridor.
The Project work included construction of a new four-lane road, relocation of the Mayer Road intersection, as well as a major utility road and tie-in at both the Cooper and Springfield intersections.
Due to the large volumes of commuters using these corridors, traffic and safety, to both the public and our staff, were primary concerns in delivery of this project.
ACL’s implementation and execution of an effective Traffic Management Plan was key in bringing this project to completion on schedule.
Now that the Benvoulin Road four-lane extension project is complete, I wanted to pass along my thanks and appreciation for a job well done. This was an important project in the City of Kelowna’s Traffic Management Strategy.
We, at the City of Kelowna’s Roadways Division, all very much appreciated the capacity demonstrated by Associated Engineering and Ansell Construction to work together in delivering this important road-link at an exceptionally challenging, high traffic site.
Your competence and professionalism, focus to detail, pro-activeness, flexibility and willingness to be a project team player has benchmarked your firm in the Heavy Civil Infrastructure market.
